Install & Upgrade

Install (overview)

You’ll install the SBD Audit web app on your server, create a database, run migrations, and create the first admin user. The mobile app points to your server URL for sync and submissions.

Users & Roles

Who can do what.

Contractor Admin

Full control. Manages customers, assets, templates, and reporting.

Inspector / Tech

Runs inspections, creates defects, uploads photos, collects signatures.

Customer Viewer

Read-only access to their assets and PDF records.

Standard workflow

Applies to every module.

Inspect

Run a checklist, capture photos, and record signatures/timestamps.

Defect → Repair

Monitor/Fail creates defects. Repairs log labor/parts/photos.

Verify → Report

Verification closes defects and generates customer-ready PDFs.
